The Mercedes-AMG GT (C190 / R190) is a grand tourer produced in coupé and roadster bodystyles by German automobile manufacturer Mercedes-AMG.
The car was introduced on 9 September 2014 and was officially unveiled to the public in October 2014 at the Paris Motor Show.
The GT’s exterior design was kept similar to that of the preceding SLS AMG.
It features the wide wheel arches, lower bodywork, and fastback sloping roofline of the SLS AMG, but uses conventional forward-opening doors instead of the iconic gullwing style pioneered by the 300 SL in the 1950s.
The GT uses a front mid-engine, rear-wheel-drive layout, with the engine positioned inside of the vehicle’s wheelbase.

El Mercedes-AMG GT (C190 / R190) es un gran turismo producido en estilos de carrocería coupé y roadster por el fabricante de automóviles alemán Mercedes-AMG.
El automóvil se presentó el 9 de septiembre de 2014 y se presentó oficialmente al público en octubre de 2014 en el Salón del Automóvil de París.
El diseño exterior del GT se mantuvo similar al del SLS AMG anterior.
Cuenta con los pasos de rueda anchos, la carrocería inferior y la línea del techo inclinada fastback del SLS AMG, pero usa puertas convencionales que se abren hacia adelante en lugar del icónico estilo de ala de gaviota del que fue pionero el 300 SL en la década de 1950.
El GT utiliza un diseño de motor central delantero y tracción trasera, con el motor colocado dentro de la distancia entre ejes del vehículo.
